If there is a known problem with bed bugs in the office or school, consider storing your belongings in a plastic bin. Be vigilant in areas where bed bugs are most likely to be found, which include break rooms, storage areas (coat closets or cubbies), offices or lounges with upholstered furniture, or areas where people may rest.
Dry ice traps work by attracting the bed bugs through carbon dioxide, a substance that they are lured to along with human warmth. Once the bed bugs wind up in the bowl with the dry ice they will be trapped there since they won't be able to crawl out of the center portion of the bowl.
I kept doing this every night. By the forth morning no adult bid bugs were caught in the duct tape. But I kept putting new duct tape out every night to catch the baby bed bugs. The chance of catching bedbugs via person-to-person contact is minimal. Unlike bacterial contagions, there's no need to worry about shaking hands with people with bugs. But how about hugging?
